Lifetime Learning Brenham encourages learning and literacy for a lifetime. We offer programs to the community, including luncheons with speakers on a variety of topics. Our Washington County READ promotes a particular book throughout the year culminating in a reception in the fall with a visit from the author, an array of refreshments, and a dramatic reading by Unity Theatre actors.
We are a 501-(c)3 nonprofit that relies on volunteers and charitable donations. Our luncheons at the Cannery charge $25, but our other activities are free to all. We do not require membership or dues. Whether you live in Brenham, Washington County, or elsewhere, check us out by attending a speaker luncheon, book review, or the READ reception.
